Our Church Devotional: Week 3 - Open Doors
Scripture Readings: Acts 15:1-11; 22-35, 1 Timothy 1:5
What does it mean to have open doors?
In the Scripture reading, some churches believed that the people had to do certain things to be saved. Does our church have any of these “rules”?
If so, what are some of these “rules,” and are they helpful or hindering to our church?
The disciples’ decision to trust that they “will be saved through grace of the Lord Jesus” (Acts 15:11 - versus the law of Moses) opened the doors of the church to countless generations. How will our church doors (opened or closed) affect the next generation or even the next 10 generations?
